Epic Boat Day on Lake Keowee - Waterfall Tours & Watersports with Captain
Come enjoy a day on Lake Keowee with a highly experienced Captain who can teach you to Wakeboard/Wake Surf/Ski etc. or pull you on a huge & comfortable 4 person tube! You can also just cruise and enjoy the nearby attractions like the jumping rocks and waterfall (North Keowee) or cruise to the TIKI HUT/Lighthouse restaurants (South Keowee) and eat/drink all you want with a designated DD! You will have a great time even if you are new to watersports or you just want a relaxing day!
Capt. Joe Cap (38 yo) has taught dozens of people to Wakeboard/Surf for the first time and he knows when to take it easy or go all out. He will always read the environment/audience and abide by requests so that everyone can learn and have fun as well as feel confident in their safety!
PRICING is dependent on number of hours, time of year, and weekday vs weekend.
*** All pricing also includes GAS (so no worries on filling up at the end/extra unforseen costs like marina rentals**
The typical planned start time is 11 AM but that is very flexible. We can go until around midnight or after if requested. Night Swimming is one of the most underrated events on a lake, but the day-start-time may be adjusted.
There is no GAS/hour limitation (prior requested) so the day or evening can be extended to include a trip to the Lighthouse or Tiki Hut Restaurants for no additional cost! However, there may be a need to stop at a Marina to top off gas.
Tours or trips to Lake Jocassee are available upon request but are at an increased price (add $100 minimum to pricing) and require additional planning due to limitations during the heavy tourist months (starting end of May, going through end of August) so please inquire with us directly if this is of interest.

GENERAL INFO:
1. All watersports equipment (tubes, skis, wake & surfboards and life jackets) are provided.
2. Cap will always bring a large cooler full of ice-cold waters!
3. Cap will also bring a few extra towels and sunscreen just in case you forget yours but supplies may be limited.
4. A 2nd mate/CoCap is available upon request or may be required depending on the needs. This is a good option or needed when multiple children are involved (or there are other applicable circumstances).
5. Anyone over 18 may stay out until they are ready to leave the lake, so as prior mentioned Night-swimming is an option. However, start times are subject to change and there may be additional costs or restrictions. Due to limited visibility everyone must wear a life jacket while in the water (starting 15 min prior to sundown) and NO person under the age of 18 will be allowed to night-swim for any reason.
RULES & REGULATIONS:
1. Anyone UNDER 12 years of age must have a life jacket on AT ALL TIMES.
2. Anyone involved in a water sport or swimming during hours of limited visibility (rain or night swimming) must wear a life jacket at all times.
3. All local laws and ordinances must be complied with at all times. (https://www.dnr.sc.gov/boating/boatingtip.html)
4. Life Jackets while day swimming is highly encouraged for all ages. Cap will make it a point to mention this several times, as it is not worth the risk and at minimum everyone should have some type of flotation device while in the water!
5. Waiting at least 30 minutes after eating to swim will also be HIGHLY encouraged.
6. 250 Fully Refundable Security Deposit *MAY* be required.
7. A Waiver/Hold Harmless must be signed before boarding by each Person/Guardian.
8. Alcohol consumption is perfectly fine, but a great time requires hydration! Individuals who start the day drinking do not typically last more than a few hours, especially in the sun. As such we ask that everyone either refrain from drinking in the morning, or at least drink 1 water per alcoholic beverage until a few hours before sundown as well as eating some snacks or food between drinks.
9. UBER WILL BE CALLED for anyone planning to drive if they are inebriated (partially or otherwise) and this is at the discretion of Cap.
10. No one may bring any illegal substance on board for any reason.
11. Smoking (vape or cigarettes) it is not allowed on the boat if everyone on board is not 18 and up. If you must smoke and there are children (17 and under) you may do so on any island or dock. If you own a vape that is low visibility or does not have a strong smell (Cap determined) you may be authorized to smoke on the back of the boat, as long as no one under the age of 18 is present/near-by (Ie: kids can sit at the front of the boat).
12. ALL passengers must be FULLY SEATED while the vessel is in motion. This is a the most forgotten rule, but Cap will always notice and say something, and it is everyone elses job to do the same.
13. There are no propellers on our watercraft, but everyone may still be asked to get on/in the boat before starting the engines or moving.
14. IF you SEE something that doesnt seem right, SAY something! SAFTEY comes FIRST!
15. Refunds or rain checks are possible but Cap will not cancel a boat day because of rain alone. Thunderstorms and/or lightning within 20 miles will bring all activities to an end until it passes.
16. Prices are dependent on above variables.
17. A CoCapt/2cd mate may be required depending on number of children + age (no additional cost).
Lastly, Cap is amazing at managing all the tasks at hand while the boat is in motion or floating, but as such he may not be able to converse in certain situations. Please be patient as he is keeping everyone safe and know that being friendly is his aim but ensuring a safe and amazing time comes first! We look forward to an ALL OUT day with you and yours!
